Creating Spicy Town comes from the need to turn ideas into reality - to craft our own vibrant little world where our imaginations burst forth, melding chaos and joy into something uniquely ours.
Last night was our first official live-stream council meeting! As you can see, we had a few folks stop by to contribute and support!
First up was the pet updates. I went through the Twitch redemptions and everyone's pets. Here's a link to the official shop.
Then I went through the alerts on Twitch and gave shoutouts for all the bits, subs and gifted subs from last week. There is also a SPECIAL addition to the overlay for MERICAHERO that only WE know about... no one seems to have noticed it yet?
We discussed a new system for giving thanks to folks who support since sound alerts are turned off on the stream (to support RP). We came up with a system of art that goes up on a wall in Spicy Town. More on this in the future!
Came up with some ideas / rules for residents and how they can contribute to the decision making process in Spicy Town. A part of this, is giving people their own businesses, and spaces in the Spicy Town board game which will be impacted by an ongoing storyline/conflict.
We went over the blog / website and started adding new businesses to Spicy Town.
We went through the forum on the Spicy Town Discord where all these things will be tracked publicly. Here's a link to the Discord.
To support Dino Market, Spicy Town's official market (and interactive stream game), we added a command to the bot (!market) to support new players and help residents learn the game. Here's a link to the commands.
We made a PTS Princess intro for Tay (link to her Twitch).
And that was basically it! Whew... it was very fun to plan things with everyone. Special thanks to Shay for joining the voice chat.
